DIRECTOR’S DECLARATION
In the opinion of the Directors:
1. the financial statements and notes of the Company and the consolidated entity, as set out on pages 21 to 59, and the additional
disclosures included in the Remuneration Report section of the Directors’ Report designated as audited, are in accordance with
the Corporations Act 2001:
(a) comply with Accounting Standards and the Corporations Regulations 2001; and
(b) give a true and fair view of the financial position as at 31 July 2008 and of the performance for the year ended on that date
of the Company and the Brickworks Group;
2. there are reasonable grounds to believe that the Company will be able to pay its debts as and when they become due and
payable.
3. as at the date of this declaration, there are reasonable grounds to believe that the members of the Closed Group identified in
note 32(a) will be able to meet any obligations or liabilities to which they are or may become subject to, by virtue of the Deed of
Cross Guarantee.
This declaration is made after receiving the declaration required to be made to the Directors in accordance with s295A of the
Corporations Act 2001 for the financial year ended 31 July 2008.
This declaration is made in accordance with a resolution of the Board of Directors.
